NAPLAN 2022 summary results

Families and schools will soon receive their NAPLAN reports as usual. The NAPLAN 2022 results detailing the long-term national and jurisdictional trends will be released towards the end of the year as usual. The preliminary results release, which details state and territory NAPLAN trends and is usually published at this time of year, will be delayed until a full and rigorous analysis of the impact of lower-than-usual student participation rates due to the COVID pandemic, floods and flu is conducted.

Update on the Australian Curriculum Languages review

The public consultation period for the proposed revisions to 5 of the Australian Curriculum: Languages has now closed. We would like to thank everyone who completed our online survey. All of the feedback will be considered in finalising the revisions, which will be provided to education ministers for their consideration and endorsement. Stay tuned for further updates about this review in a future edition of the ACARA Update.
